Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

🔒
The short version: we collect nothing.

Revelio does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. No analytics. No tracking. No servers. Everything happens locally on your device. That's it.

01 Who We Are

Revelio is an independent magic performance app distributed via GitHub. It is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. in any way.

For any privacy-related questions, contact us on GitHub.

02 Data We Collect

None. Revelio does not collect any personal information. We do not ask for your name, email address, location, or any other identifying information.

We do not use analytics tools, crash reporters, advertising SDKs, or any other third-party services that collect data.

03 Your Instagram Account

Revelio uses Instagram's native WebView to display Instagram content on your device. This means:

We never see your Instagram credentials. Your username and password are entered directly into Instagram's own login interface and are never intercepted, stored, or transmitted by Revelio. We have no access to your Instagram session data, messages, followers, or any account information.

Your Instagram session is governed entirely by Instagram's Privacy Policy.

04 Local Storage

The only data stored on your device is your selected card preference, saved locally so you don't have to re-select it between performances. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time by deleting the app.

05 GitHub

Revelio is distributed via GitHub. When you download the app, you interact with GitHub's platform, which has its own privacy practices. Please refer to GitHub's Privacy Statement for details on what they collect.

We do not receive any information about who downloads the app.

06 Children's Privacy

Revelio is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. Since we collect no data from anyone, this is inherently satisfied.

07 Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy — for example, if we add analytics or crash reporting in a future version — we will update this page and the date above, and note the changes clearly in the GitHub release notes.

We commit to never introducing data collection silently.
